First, grab the lemon, or whichever citrus fruit is necessary for extraction (limes, oranges, grapefruit, tangerines, etc.), and cut into two halves so it can fit inside of the lemon squeezer. Sometimes the lemon is too big to fit in the holder, but it is not a problem since it can be cut into smaller size. It is recommended to place the half cut lemon facing the exposed end downward first into the squeezer as the juice will fall from the holes located at the bottom or sides of the squeezer (You may use a bowl too if you are not putting the lemon juice directly on your preparation). Then, using both hands, firmly squeeze the handles towards each other while gradually increasing the amount of force you put into the handles. You will notice the juice being extracted from either the bottom or the sides of the squeezer. After completing, You may flip the fruit and repeat the same process. However, the fruit might be a little crushed at this point but hey might as well try to extract as much juice possible!
